Using Day by Verse

Day by Verse supports personal Bible reading, study, and reflection. Use it lawfully. Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, evade subscription or usage limits, or make abusive automated requests. Free features remain available without Plus as described in the app.

Scripture and study material

The World English Bible text is public domain. Other source datasets are credited in the app. AI-generated studies are explanations separate from Scripture. Automated checks do not constitute human review; studies may contain mistakes or uncertain interpretations. They are educational aids, not professional or pastoral advice.

Day by Verse Plus

Plus is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. The app and Apple’s purchase sheet show the price, billing period, and any offer terms before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically; Apple may charge for renewal within the preceding 24 hours.

Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Use Restore Purchases in the app if paid access is missing.

Plus includes up to 50 successful new studies per subscription per UTC day, shared across study depths and devices using that subscription. The allowance resets at midnight UTC. Failed generations and access to previously prepared studies do not use this allowance.

Availability and your saved content

Generated studies require internet access and third-party services. Maintenance or service problems may delay access. We work to maintain availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update features and prepared studies, subject to applicable consumer rights and the terms of your purchase.

Reflections, saved verses, and reading progress are stored on your device. You retain rights to your own writing. Keep any backups you need; deleting the app removes its local data.

Ownership and responsibility

Palara LLC owns the app’s software, design, and branding, excluding public-domain and third-party material. These terms do not transfer ownership. To the extent permitted by law, the website and service are provided as available, without a guarantee that all content is error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Law, changes, and contact

Delaware law governs these terms except where mandatory local consumer protections apply. We may update these terms and will identify the current version by its effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Questions about the app, subscriptions, or these terms can be sent through our Contact page.
